100% Fiano di Avellino
Fiano is an ancient grape variety. The Latins named it Vitis Apiana, ‘the grape that is loved by bees’, because these animals seemed particurarly fond of its sweet fruit. This wine was also much appreciated in the Middle Ages, and was cultivated by Charles D’Anjou who loved its exceptional qualities.
It is straw yellow in colour and has a pronounced bouquet, with a fresh, well-rounded flavour. It marries particularly well with all types of fine fish and shellfish, and is also ideal as an apertif.
